The thoughtful detail that goes into every piece is a personal statement from owners Sarah Jannerbo and Louisa Hurst (sisters). The two grew up on a farm in North Georgia where they spent every spare moment out at the barn with the horses or “creating” things. Their adult lives took them in different directions – Sarah off to Europe to study figure drawing and printmaking, and Louisa to pursue interior design.
The jewelry line began in 2004 when Sarah was introduced to sculpting wax. She dropped everything and dove in – realizing she could translate everything she knew and loved about other mediums into her jewelry style. Needing a “more organized thinker,” she asked Louisa to join her in 2005 and today the two design, create and market their collection.
The idea that jewelry could become a part of history began at an early age when their grandmother would give them estate pieces each Christmas or birthday. Today Sarah and Louisa strive to make each piece so unique and timeless that it will be appreciated and worn for many years…becoming a part of your personal story.
