In 2007 Tanya's other of love of fashion and clothes led her to enroll in the International Academy of Design and Technology where she completed a degree in Fashion Design, thus enhancing her millinery skills and earning her
Seattle Magazine's title of "one of the freshest design talents in the city." Tanya's hat designs continue to be inspired by fashion, and currently relishes her recurring role as wardrobe assistant with Barbara Berman’s Backstage team for New York Fashion Week shows including Oscar de la Renta, Jason Wu, Marchesa, Isaac Mizrahi, Badgley Mischka, Zac Posen, Custo Barcelona, and many others.
Tanya is a two-time recipient of the prestigious MILI Design award from the Millinery Information Bureau and New York press and buyers. Her hats have been featured in The Hat Shop, La Di Da, Upper Class, Debut NYC, Medici NY, and Tres-Jolie in Beverly Hills, Ca.
