EVA&OLi is a collection born in Paris pour les enfants urbains.
“If we were kids today, these are the clothes that we’d be wearing”, the designers say. “The clothes are hip enough to hang out with mom, but comfortable enough to travel in and conquer the play ground.“
Co-created by Jeanette Christiansen and Michelle Pozon, EVA&OLi is a line designed for their kids, Eva Liv and Olivier, who are always on the go. The designers have redefined the concept of the basic children’s wardrobe, by combining cotton in various textures with a modern color palette, metallics and fashion forward prints.
EVA&OLi is more than clothes. The collection offers a full selection of” Mama and Papa” Diaper Bags, complete with changing pads and detachable pouches. Which are perfect for every day or the weekend getaway.
The collection also features room accessories, such as whimsical storage boxes, pillows and blankets in their latest colors and prints.
Jeanette from Copenhagen, formerly designed at SONIA RYKIEL. She is also the Creator of Christiansen Bags, a label found on stylish shoulders throughout Europe, Hong Kong and Japan. This style can be seen in the EVA&Oli bags, as well. Michelle grew up in Hong Kong and started designing in San Francisco 1994 and continued to New York 1998. Her miki p label was carried in prestigious stores such as Henri Bendels, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and Harvey Nichols, to name a few.
The 2 met on a squash court in Paris and became fast friends. Shortly after, they found themselves, both pregnant, and the idea for EVA&Oli followed suit. Conceived in 2007, EVA&OLi can now be found all over the world – From Paris to New York, Tokyo to Sydney, and Dubai to Hong Kong.
Most importantly, EVA&Oli lives from the heart, hence the LOVE LiNE. This charitable segment of the collection, is devoted to the underprivileged children of the Third World, and provides financial assistance to the foundations that provide for them. Each item sold from the LOVELiNE means a 1EURO donation to caring for a child.
