Lazare Kaplan International Inc. has had many other "firsts" in their partnerships with other luxury brands to create exciting additions to the worlds of fashion and accessories. Their Million Dollar Diamond Jacket was created in conjunction with Japanese designer Ritsuko Shirahama and contained 1,880 Lazare Diamonds® as well as 2lbs of platinum. They later partnered with famed luxury accessories designer Taryn Rose to create "The Ideal Evening Bag" worth nearly $50,000, featuring 326 ideal cut Lazare Diamonds® and weighing a little over 10 carats. The designer was so inspired by working with Lazare Diamonds®--renown as "the world's most beautiful diamond®"--that a pair of diamond embellished Taryn Rose shoes soon followed. In keeping with the generosity of their company culture, Lazare recently partnered with Bruster's Real Ice Cream to create a $1million ice cream cone made of gold, enamel and of course, Lazare Diamonds®. Proceeds from the sale of the cone will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
