Pam Branch Designs - Featuring an Intriguing Mix of Stylishly Delicate and Fashionably Bold, Handcrafted Jewelry
Over a year ago, Pam Branch left the security of her job as a lawyer in order to pursue a career as a jewelry designer. She has proven that she is willing to take risks and that she welcomes change. In keeping with her continuing desire for personal and professional growth, the designer has parted from her trend of creating an entire collection of elegantly understated jewelry. For Spring 2009, Pam Branch Designs has broadened its creative horizon and has designed a cohesive collection of jewelry that contains both bold, statement pieces as well as its signature, delicate jewelry.
In her last twelve lines of handcrafted jewelry, Pam Branch has paid homage to her inspirational and supportive family and friends by naming her collections after them; for example, her mother Margaret, and the plastic flowers that she planted in her garden, were the inspiration for the colorful and lyrical “Margaret’s Garden” collection. While her loved ones continue to inspire her, the designer has found inspiration for her latest collection in an unlikely place - the pod. Since she designed her latest collection in celebration of her personal power to make life-altering changes, in another departure from her trends, the designer has named her new collection after herself.
“Pam’s Pods” is a whimsical collection of handcrafted jewelry that will appeal to those seeking understated, delicate pieces as well as those seeking bolder, avant-garde jewelry. The focal point of each piece is the pod, which is sculpted from sterling silver or 14k gold-filled wire. For those who have grown accustomed to Branch’s use of semi-precious gemstones, prepare yourself to be blown away by the addition of her new, favorite material - vibrant, colorful, wooden beads. Make a statement with your jewelry. Step outside of the box this spring and get into “Pam’s Pods.”
“Pam’s Pods” as well as Pam Branch Designs’ previous collections are available online at www.pambranchdesigns.com and at various retail stores. Visit the designer’s website for details about her jewelry as well as her ongoing efforts to raise awareness about diabetes, a disease that affects both her mother and father.
