Frank Reubel, founder of Frank Reubel Designs™, was born in the Bronx, NY just outsideof Yankee Stadium and has been hitting homeruns ever since. In his teenage years, while living on Long Island, he discovered his passion for art and nature. After attending the University of Arizona he joined the Army. Following his travels, he returned to study film at The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. His interests and skills included cinematography, photographer, artist, and international jewelry trade, which quickly turned to jewelry design and manufacturing in 1972.
Settling into family and business life in the peaceful solitude of Woodstock, NY, he vacationed often in Florida. Over the years he stumbled upon a small beach community along the northeast coast. Inspired by sunny, tropical breezes, his two boys, Lennon and Alex, as well his daughter Aylee, he soon found himself, his family and business relocating to the paradise of Florida. Inspirations from his journey can be seen in the
creative beauty of his contemporary jewelry designs.
After 35 years in jewelry design and manufacturing, Frank Reubel Designs™ remains an independent, family-owned business. Frank, Alex and Lennon’s jewelry designs are a collaborative effort. Alex, the Head of Marketing, Advertising and Sales has brought national recognition to FRD. Lennon oversees every aspect of production in the design studio located in Florida. With a full team of professionals on board, the collaboration of experience and passion for art and nature has produced a boldly scaled line of fine designer jewelry. FRD continues to grow with its unique, modern approach, with each piece handmade in America.
